Q: What influenced you to start a career in Hair Styling?
A: I had really long hair growing up and my Mum couldn’t braid so I taught myself how to do different styles and tried it out on school friends! A friend’s Mum was a mobile hairdresser and I helped her out for a day and loved it!
Q: What do you love most about being a Stylist?
A: It’s a creative thing, an art.
Q: What motivates you?
A: A passion for people to have great hair and feel good about themselves.
Q: How did you move into Bridal Hair?
A: When I worked for Saks I was the go to stylist for Wedding hair and I really enjoyed it. I have always had the ability to see a style and recreate it.
It’s the same with my paintings, I can see an image and exactly replicate that image on canvas with paint.
Q: What is your favourite thing about being a Bridal Hair Stylist?
A: I just love working with Brides. It’s such an exciting time in their lives and to be part of it with them is just amazing.
Q: What advice would you give to an aspiring Stylist?
A: If you have a passion for what you do, as I do, it doesn’t feel like work. Being a Stylist is more than just about hair. It is about making personal connections with your clients. I’ve got lots of clients who’ve ended up being really good friends!
